PracticeCLB Partner Program Terms

These terms govern participation in the PracticeCLB affiliate/partner program ("Program"). By applying to the Program, you agree to these terms. This page is separate from the general Terms of Service, which also apply to your use of PracticeCLB itself.

1. Disclosure

Whenever you share your referral link — in a video, post, message, or conversation — you must clearly disclose that you earn a commission (for example, "I earn a commission if you sign up through this link"). This applies every time the link is shared, not just once. A request-based, disclosed recommendation — for example, answering someone who asks you directly about CELPIP prep and sharing your link with a disclosure — is explicitly allowed and welcomed.

2. Prohibited activity

• No spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or mass DMs.
• No posting your link in groups, forums, or channels where their own rules prohibit it.
• No fake reviews or misleading claims about PracticeCLB or CELPIP outcomes.
• No bidding on "PracticeCLB" or close misspellings as paid search keywords.
• No listing your link on coupon or deal-aggregator sites unless we've approved it in writing.
• No self-purchases or purchases for household/family members using your own link to earn a commission on yourself.

3. How attribution works

The last partner link a customer clicks within 30 days before their first purchase gets the credit. Once a customer makes their first attributed purchase, they are locked to you for 12 months — later clicks on a different partner's link during that window don't move them. A customer who already had an account and a completed purchase before clicking any partner link is not attributable — no discount, no commission.

4. Commission & discount

New customers who use your link get 10% off their first payment (a one-time pass, or the first invoice of a subscription). You earn 20% of the amount the customer actually paid (after discount, excluding tax) on their first purchase and on every renewal or repeat purchase for 12 months after that first purchase. Partners who bring in 10 or more net paid customers in a calendar quarter move to a 25% commission rate for the following quarter, set manually by our team.

5. Self-referral

You may not use your own referral link to buy PracticeCLB for yourself, and you may not have someone in your household use it on your behalf to generate a commission. We check this by account and by email address.

6. Hold period & payouts

Each commission is held for 30 days after the purchase it's tied to, to cover our refund window. After that, it becomes available for payout. We pay out monthly, in the first week of the month, once your available balance reaches a minimum of CAD $25. Payment is made via Interac e-Transfer (Canada) or PayPal, to the payout details you provide in your affiliate dashboard. Balances below the minimum simply carry forward to the following month.

7. Refunds

If a customer is refunded before their commission has been paid out, that commission is cancelled. If a refund happens after the commission has already been paid out — for example, a Score Improvement Guarantee refund — it is not invoiced back to you; instead it is deducted from your future earnings only.

8. Taxes

You are responsible for reporting and paying any taxes owed on commissions you earn through the Program. PracticeCLB does not withhold taxes from payouts.

9. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your participation in the Program, and withhold unpaid commissions, if we determine in good faith that you've violated these terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or generated referral traffic that doesn't genuinely represent your own audience. We may update these terms from time to time; continuing to participate in the Program after an update means you accept the revised terms. We will email partners at least 30 days before any change to commission rates or payout rules, and changes apply only to purchases made after the change. We may also end the Program with 30 days' notice; commissions you've already earned are still paid under these terms.

10. Currency

All amounts in these terms and in your dashboard are in Canadian dollars (CAD).

11. Your customers' privacy

Partners do not receive customers' personal information. Your affiliate dashboard shows only anonymized purchase details — for example, a masked email address — never a customer's full name or full email address.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
